Why Vintage is So Hot Right Now
06.09.19

Here at Love and Object, we've been vintage fans since forever, yet 2019 seems to be the year that it has become the fashion girl's go-to.

Now more than ever, the innate uniqueness, collectability and quality of rare designer vintage has been celebrated by stylists and celebrities alike.
The beauty of vintage is that it transcends trends, as it can be worn and interpreted in so many ways.

And in an era of mass production, it's undeniable that introducing vintage into your wardrobe is one of the most sustainable practices one can make when it comes to fashion.

Many may not know that our founder, Constance, had been double majoring in Sustainability and Art History when the idea for Love and Object was born - it's one of the original reasons we were founded, and remains an integral value that guides us in the way that we do all of our business, from sourcing to delivery.

We plan to share more about our sustainability practices in future, but for now, enjoy a few of our favourite recent vintage looks, worn in refreshingly chic ways - a little weekend outfit inspo, with extra feel good factor! x

Kendall Jenner wears Vintage Chanel on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. We love the way she has layered her necklaces; a modern take on the classic twinset.

Kendall again in a Vintage Chanel Belt Bag - we've had our hands on one of these before... such a staple. For a Chanel-esque look of the belt variety, try our Vintage Claudia Belt.

Elsa Hosk in vintage YSL earrings - we've had a pair of these babies once before, too. Stunners. Shop our new Givenchy Turlingtons, Gerard Yoscas or Balenciaga Bellamy's for a similar golden statement vibe.

Elsa loves her vintage accessories - here, she pairs her Vintage YSL Earrings with a casual button up for an effortless weekend look. For a similar look, try our Vintage Gerard Yosca or Christian Lacroix Drop Earrings.

Ok, we're obsessed with Elsa, but how can we not be...  in Vintage Chanel.

Candice Swanepoel in Vintage Givenchy.  Just insane.  If you're in the market for a little Givenchy neck candy yourself, check our new Vintage Givenchy Downtown Necklace, here.

Bella Hadid in Vintage Prada - understated cool.

Bella again, this time in top to toe Vintage Chanel. We love how differently she styles her vintage from the likes of Elsa, Candice and Kendall. Each of them equally chic, with their own points of view.

If you're looking to add a little vintage designer in your wardrobe this season, shop our latest couture edit here, it's our favourite collection yet.

Happy weekend, lovers xx
