The L&O Top Five | The Weekend Edit
27.03.20

It's certainly a surreal time at the moment, but one we are making the most of using with renewed creativity, rest and reflection.

We’ll be here with you over the next month to share plenty of fresh inspiration and ideas to keep you busy and inspired!

Stay tuned for more journals, Q&As with some of our favourite people, cameos of our furry friends and updates on how we’re making the most of being at home..

If your eye has wandered to one of our precious gems, our store remains open, though there will be a shipping delay on any orders made during this time.

Any purchases made during the lockdown period will be wrapped up and kept with us at home for safe keeping, until the day couriers become available again, and for those interested in purchasing a gift voucher for a loved one, they can be found here.

In the meantime, here's a round-up of the top five people, blogs and videos giving us all of the inspiration right now....

Bon weekend, stay safe, stay cozy, and see you soon.

Xx The L&O Team

Beauty and fashion

We love both Rosie Hunting Whitely and the beauty brand, Kosas - clean makeup that is beautiful to wear, what more could you ask for? (Our current favourite is their WetOil lipgloss - featured above - in the shade, Malibu).

So naturally we've been watching this chic, autumnal beauty tutorial on repeat, which features the both of them below.  Friday night at home date night look, anyone?

We are long-time lovers of this French beauty expert who takes her makeup application inspiration from her studies of light and colour of renaissance paintings.
Super stylish and a jewellery lover to boot, she's a daily follow for us.

Here's a go-to beauty look that certainly wouldn't feel out of place in any room of the home (pass us the wine and creme-brûlée too, please...)

Interiors

This whole series makes us want a secret apartment of our own to escape to in Paris, when travel is possible again...#daydreaming

Each woman has their own unique style, yet each are bound together by that inimitable French girl je ne sais quoi.

Part of our daily decor diet, Architectural Digest offers a voyeuristic view into the homes of the famous. Our personal favourites? The celebs who let their passions and individuality shine through in their interiors.

Currently we're crushing on Dakota Johnson's Mid Century LA home, designed in collaboration with Pierce & Ward.

Comfort food recipes

Anthena is one of our most recent Muses, as we navigate our 30s and learning to juggle home life, work and womanhood.

Check out her dreamy blog for recipes, appropriately swoon-worthy interiors and her chic, minimalist style.

Her mouth-watering Ginger and Vanilla Bean Rhubarb Galette is absolutely on our hit list for the weekend...

How to wear jewels as the weather cools

Alongside cosy wines by the fire,  romantic rainy evening dates and, most excitingly, ski-season, with the incoming cold season comes new opportunities to think outside the box when it comes to dressing.
