How we’re adding sparkle to our week

With the change of seasons and recent events,  it's the perfect opportunity to take some time for self care. A time to spend memorable moments with our closest friends and love ones, because that's what matters most!

Here's how we're adding a little sparkle to our week here at L&O... xx

Brunching with the Best

We'll be dressing up in our favourite jewels and host an at-home brunch for our best girlfriends, with champagne (Perrier Jouet of course), catering by our favourite local jaunt (our current go-to being Orphans' Kitchen), and dried floral arrangements that will last well beyond the even date - admirable at home flora for many months to come.

We love working with Hannah from Grace and Flora for all of our dried floral needs. Simply bring her a chosen colour palette and a vase you already own and she'll design a unique bouquet to suit your brief.

Taking the Time to Pamper

We're supporting our local independent beauticians by buying beauty gift vouchers for ourselves and loved ones - because who doesn’t love having something to look forward to in the pampering department?

We're also upping the at-home pampering routine on top of our usual weekly rituals - often times when we are leading our busy lives, we can tend to put self-care to the wayside. Now is the perfect excuse to give yourself a little TLC after a busy first quarter to 2020!

Lighting a Candle

We're turning our homes into calm, serene and beautifully scented sanctuaries with our favourite candles.  Our current must-have?  The Astronomici by Fornasetti available from Design55 (pictured above) which doubles as a chic vase, makeup brush holder or trinket case long after the candle has burned away.

Marie Kondo-ing the Wardrobe

This is the perfect opportunity to do a little Autumn wardrobe overhaul - having extra time at home means we can focus on a considered clear-out, and perhaps re-find some old gems we'd forgotten about!

We love starting our clear-outs with a little new season inspiration. If you're looking for some kickstarters yourself, here are a few of our latest street style crush accounts, all with a love for fabulous jewels, of course....

Our favourite Italian on Instagram as of late.  Get her glam look with our Vintage Givenchy Vogue Bracelet and our Olympia Alessia Hoops, available now at Sisters & Co and Ballantynes.

We love Leia for her effortless Parisienne aesthetic, perfect for those casual outift days when you need a little extra inspiration. Get her look with our Olympia Allegria Stacker Rings, and our Vintage Fine Zodiac Pendants.
Flirty, feminine and vintage inspired, get Constance's look with our Vintage Givenchy Downtown Necklace, our Vintage Fine Zodiac Pendant, and our Vintage Balenciaga Goldette Earrings.

Happy autumn, lovers, and thanks for supporting our local business Xx
