CC’s Spring Beauty Routine
13.10.19

In response to a number of DM requests about CC's skincare routine, we sat down to chat current beauty favourites and most-reached-for jewels, now that the weather is heating up.

Starting The Day

A note book is a must-have on my bedside cabinet, to write done tasks for the day ahead or any ideas that popped into my head the night before...

I also always have a selenite crystal set beside me - a crystallised form of Gypsum. Said to provide good luck and protection, whilst also strengthening the memory, it is an ideal first thing in the morning, before the caffeine sets in!

Morning Prep

I’ve recently switched up my skincare to feature probiotic products, it made sense to me to incorporate them into my skincare routine when I rely on them for my internal health!

With that being said, after a light cleanse I prep my skin with BYBI hydration mist (a favourite still, since featuring in my Winter Skincare Must Haves), followed by Edible Beauty Probiotic Tonic.

Next, a drop or two of my Origins Plantscription Anti Aging Serum.  It’s non greasy - a must for pre-makeup prep. I recently switched my oils for serums as a lighter option for the warmer weather.

To follow, a little Galinee La Culture Moisturiser, another probiotic product I’m loving. It’s rich, smells like brown sugar but sinks into the skin like a dream. My skin has been much clearer and calm since I started using the probiotic products.

Then a quick de-puff with a rose quartz face massager, ( rose quartz is supposedly perfect for females to use, increasing our natural beauty!)

Next, a sunscreen of course, followed by the final step - jewels to frame the face.

My current favourites are our Olympia Alessia Earrings - they always make my think of warmer days and holidays, so I love pulling them out as soon as spring hits.

Hair & Makeup Loves

For my hair, Oribe Dry Shampoo has been a long time favourite and still is - perfect for blondes with fine hair.

But I have found a new spring purchases, Dr Hauschka's Bronzing Tint being one of them - I’ve switched from a powder bronzer to this product. It’s so easy to blend and can be added to my sunscreen for a makeup-free glow.

And my new favourite highlighter is by Ilia. I use mine on the inner corner of the eye, brow bone and my cheeks. A must have product for faking 8 hours of sleep.

For the lips, after reading the hype, I’ve tried a few of Miranda Kerr’s Kora Organics range, some I wouldn’t purchase again, but her Noni Lip Tint is a new favourite. I’ll be taking this on my next long haul journey as it the most hydrating cruelty free lip treatment I've found.

LR: Our Olympia Aletta Bracelet with Lapis, Kora Organics Noni Lip Tint, Dr Hauschka's Bronzing Tint, Olympia Aletta Bracelet with Turquoise, Chantecaille Lip Stick in Agave.
For those days when I need a little more colour, Chantecaille's Lip Stick in Agave is a must have for this time of year - a nude pink with a touch of bronze. I also use it on my cheeks as a blush, and sometimes as an eye-gloss, too.

I’m obsessed with this summery combo of rich gold and turquoise for the warmer months. It pops against a (faux) tan and instantly puts me in a good mood.

Turquoise is said to flush negative emotions from the mind and support detoxification of the body. A calming stone that can induce internal serenity and lift depleted spirits.
